While a lot of people have jobs that prevent them from taking an afternoon break, I often encourage people who can't find the time during the day, to spend 10 minutes in the morning relaxing (with a nice cup of tea) before the craziness of the day starts. I know that the morning can be a hectic time, but its so helpful to take a few minutes for yourself right when you wake up, after you hop out of the shower, or even if it means driving to the office 10 minutes early and sitting peacefully at your desk/in a quiet room before you start your work. Give it a try and I'm sure you will notice a difference in your stress levels throughout the entire day!

After sitting in front of a computer screen all day, I knew my self-care time had to be dedicated to some movement. So I grabbed my yoga mat and did my go-to yoga poses. The Sun Salutation is a wonderful set of yoga poses/stretches that always leaves my body feeling great, particularly when I'm stiff from sitting at a desk all day. No worries if you've never tried yoga before (or if you don't even have a yoga mat), these stretches are fantastic even for beginners and you can do them anywhere!

Epsom salt baths are one of the easiest ways to get a nice big dose of magnesium (you need 2 cups of epsom salts to see the benefit). Couple it with a lovely aroma of lavender, and is any more convincing needed?! Ahhh, excuse me while I go relax in bliss!
